How Gifting an AI Worker Works, From Purchase to Claim

By AI Agent Factory Outlet Team · Published 11 August 2026 · Updated 11 August 2026

You build a worker, choose a plan and how many months to gift, and pay once up front — no subscription. You get a private claim link to share, valid for 90 days. When the recipient claims it, the worker and everything you taught it move to their account.

What a gifted worker actually is

A gift is a worker you've already built — name, personality, robot look, and everything you've typed into its training manual — handed over to someone else, with its running costs paid up front for a fixed number of months.

It is not a subscription in the recipient's name, and it is not a voucher. You choose one of the paid plans (Solo, Business or Workforce), choose 1, 3, 6 or 12 months, and pay exactly the monthly price multiplied by the months — no markup, no hidden fees. After that one payment, nobody is charged anything again unless the recipient later chooses a plan of their own.

The journey, step by step

  1. Design the worker. Build it in your own account first: give it a name, a personality, a look, and teach it whatever the recipient will find useful. What you see is exactly what they'll get.
  2. Buy the gift. From the worker's page, choose the plan and the number of months, add an optional message (up to 500 characters), and pay once through our checkout.
  3. Share the claim link. After payment you get a private claim link. We don't email the recipient — you share the link however you like, so the surprise stays in your hands.
  4. They claim it. The recipient opens the link, sees the worker and your message, and signs in or creates a free account. Claiming moves the worker — including its training and memories — into their account. From that moment it's fully theirs; you no longer see or control it.
  5. They use it. Their gifted time starts at the moment they claim, not when you paid. The plan you chose sets their limits while the gift lasts.

The rules worth knowing before you buy

What the recipient can and can't do

During the gifted period the recipient can chat with the worker, teach it new facts by typing them in, adjust its personality and rules, and pause it whenever they like — everything a paying customer on that plan can do.

The worker itself has the same honest limits as every worker here: it chats and drafts text, and it learns only what someone types into it. It cannot access email, files or calendars, send anything by itself, or act on its own — that's a deliberate security decision, not a missing feature.

What this looks like in real life

Imagine you run a small bookkeeping practice and your sister has just opened a florist. You build a worker called "Petal", teach it her opening hours, delivery areas and pricing, write a birthday message, and gift it three months of the Solo plan. She opens the link on her birthday, claims Petal into her own free account, and spends the next three months using it to draft replies to customer enquiries. When the three months end, nothing is charged — she gets a reminder email, decides she likes it, and picks a plan herself.

Where AI Agent Factory Outlet fits

Gifting is built into every worker you create here. You can build and try a worker for free before deciding to gift it, the gift price is always the plain monthly price times the months you choose, and the claim, transfer and expiry rules above are exactly how it works — no small print that says otherwise.

Common questions

How long does the recipient have to claim a gifted worker?

90 days from purchase. If the claim link isn't used within 90 days it expires and stops working, so buy reasonably close to when you plan to hand the gift over.

Does a gifted worker turn into a paid subscription?

No. You pay once up front for the months you choose and nothing renews. When the gifted time ends, no one is charged — the recipient gets a heads-up email and can pick a plan themselves, or the worker pauses with everything saved.

When does the gifted time start counting down?

When the recipient claims the gift, not when you pay. So a 3-month gift gives them 3 full months from the day they claim it.

Can I still see or edit the worker after it's claimed?

No. Claiming moves the worker, including everything you taught it, into the recipient's account permanently. You can't view its conversations or take it back.

What if the recipient doesn't have an account?

They create a free account when they open the claim link — it takes a minute and costs nothing. The gift covers the plan you chose for the months you paid for.

Can I claim a gift I bought myself?

No. A gift must be claimed by a different account from the one that bought it. If you want a worker for yourself, choosing a plan directly is the right route.
